University network

The University Network is an initiative of the Energy HUB to promote research in the energy sector, in collaboration with universities and research centers in Latin America and the Caribbean. The selection of the Universities is made through periodic public calls. The objective of the Network of Universities is to advance in the development of knowledge through studies, workshops and publications and research on relevant topics for the countries of the region.

Main Goals
The purpose of the Energy Dossiers is to provide concise and orderly information on the composition and organization of the energy sector in each country, including the regulatory framework, institutional framework, technical and economic characteristics of the sector.

Each Energy Dossier has three main sections:
- The sector in figures: harmonized sector charts
- Structure of the energy sector
- Historical evolution of the electricity sector
