GIGAWATTS

Gigawatts (GW) research projects are academic research projects carried out within the Network of Universities of the Energy HUB. These projects allow the development of new indicators, as well as the continuous collection of data with special emphasis on the issues of access, integration, energy security, sustainability, innovation, regulation and governance.

University network

The University Network is an initiative of the Energy Hub to promote research in the energy sector, in collaboration with universities and research centers in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its objective is to advance the development of knowledge through studies, workshops, publications and research on topics relevant to the countries of the region. Universities are selected through periodic public calls for proposals.
